Instagram Plans to Remove Fake Likes and Follows

Now Instagram wants to get rid of Fake likes, Follows and Comments. Now Instagram Fake likes and Follows will be removed from those accounts that use the third party services to get more engagement will be removed for violating Instagram community Guideline and terms & conditions.  This change in the third party policy was announced today.

The photo sharing App revealed that it has built machine learning powered moderation tools. These tools will identify which accounts use these services. On identifying the accounts, the app will automatically remove the likes, follows, and comments. Instagram Accounts which will be identified as using third-party apps in order to get popular will be notified that its fake likes are removed by the app as per policy.

These accounts will also be asked to change their passwords in case the third party apps have compromised their security. On the other hand, Instagram is also inviting brands and influencer to sale and showcase their products so it is evident that more accounts will turn to third-party apps for boosting the posts.

Recently the latest reports have revealed the Instagram Security Flaw in ‘Download Your Data’ tool. Instagram Security Flaw reportedly Exposed Passwords of Some Users. According to an Instagram spokesperson, the issue ‘discovered internally and affected a very small number of people’.
