Unlike Snapchat, Instagram’s user base is primarily international, as 80% of its users are outside of the US. Brazil, for example, is the app’s second largest market with 45 million users.

Facebook owned company, Instagram has introduced its stories feature last year. Now Instagram Stories Overtakes Snapchat with 200 Million Daily Active Users. Under this feature, users can post multiple photos and videos that disappear after 24 hours. No doubt, Instagram has introduced this feature to compete with Snapchat.

According to Instagram, over 200 million people are using the Stories feature on a daily basis. Where as, its rival app, Snapchat, has 161 Million active users. Moreover, over 600 million total Instagram users are uploading or checking out Stories. Surely, it is a bad news for Snapchat as its rival app is getting more popular as compared to it.
