Instagram Remove Followers Feature will Let Public Accounts Manage Who Follows Them

When Instagram was launched, people were very worried about their privacy. If your Instagram account is public, you cannot stop people from looking at your stories and feeds. If you block someone, your pictures and videos become private however blocking is not a solution. To cater this, the Facebook-owned company is working on a new feature, Instagram Remove Followers Feature.

Now Choose Followers of your own Choice with Instagram Remove Followers Feature

Instagram is trying to solve this issue by giving more direct control over their list of followers. Now the company is testing the ability to remove followers manually with just a few taps.

Users having private accounts can remove followers and cut off their access to their own content. Now Public accounts can also kick people out of their family of followers. Instagram is testing a feature ” Remove Followers” that is in news from the last few months.

Instagram Remove Followers feature is now rolling out to few people on Android. Matt Navarra tweeted about this feature:

Remove Followers feature of Instagram will be loved by people who are fed up with thousands of unknown followers and their stupid comments. It would be beneficial for those who don’t want their ex-partners to keep eye on their life activities.

The best thing about the Instagram New feature is that it won’t notify the person who has been removed from followers list until and unless they head to your account.

Instagram keeps on launching new features for its users on daily basis but this time Instagram has done something out of the box. The photo-sharing app now allows you to mute annoying people with Instagram mute Button. It was a much-needed feature and now many people like me will be able to shut the freaking annoying people on earth.
