Intel Announces Core X Line of high-end Processors including Core i9 Chips at Computex. Computex 2017 is a largest computing show which is currently happening in Taipei, Taiwan. Along with these chips, Intel also announced new powerful versions of its existing Core i5 and Core i7. For those who want more powerful processors, they can choose from new Core i9 line for more firepower.

The Core X platform is being targeted squarely at enthusiast customers like gamers and content creators. For those who want to run the latest games at the best possible resolution while streaming footage and running a chat with viewers or have four different creative tools open at once to put together a new vlog.

The first variant of the Core i9 series processors is a 10 core, Intel Core i9-7900X. The processor boosts the updated Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 and will have the processing frequency of 4.5GHz. The next processor of i9 series is a 12-core Core i9 7920X. The other variants are 14-core Core i9 7940X, 16-core Core i9 7960X and 18-core Core i9 7980XE processors.

As far as the pricing of the Core X processors is concerned, the Core X family would start with Core i5-7640X processor that would cost $242. The Core i7 X-Series processors would start at a $339 for a 4-core processor while the Core i9 models would be priced at $999 for a 10-core processor up to $2000 for the 18-core version.

When intel is introducing new chips, Some other reports are claiming that Samsung could Beat Intel and Become World’s Biggest Chipmaker in Q2. It means Intel will not remain its position. Let’s see what happens after the introduction of these new high-end chip. Whether Intel will sustain its position in market or not.
