Pakistani viewers will therefore be able to watch the event live from 10:00 p.m. tonight, making it one of the biggest technology launches of the year for local Apple fans.

What to Expect From the iPhone 18 Launch

Apple has not officially detailed the products it will unveil ahead of the event. However, multiple reports suggest the spotlight will be on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, along with Apple’s long-rumored first foldable iPhone, which could potentially be marketed as the iPhone Ultra.

One major change to Apple’s traditional launch strategy could be the absence of the regular iPhone 18. Reports indicate Apple may shift the standard iPhone 18 and other more affordable models to a spring 2027 launch, while September’s event focuses on its premium devices.

The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is rumored to feature Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chipset, reportedly manufactured using a 2nm process. Other expected improvements include camera upgrades, a potentially smaller Dynamic Island, battery improvements, and changes to the Camera Control system.

Meanwhile, the rumored foldable iPhone could represent Apple’s most significant iPhone design change in years, introducing a book-style folding form factor designed to offer a larger display when opened.

Apple Watch Series 12 and More Could Also Arrive

The event is unlikely to be limited to iPhones. Apple is also expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, while new AirPods could also make an appearance.

Apple may additionally announce release dates for its next software updates, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate.

Although Apple does not officially operate its own retail stores in Pakistan, new iPhones typically reach the local market through authorized and third-party channels following their international release.

For Pakistani buyers, the biggest questions will be the international starting prices, PTA taxes, local availability, and final retail prices once the new models begin arriving in the country.

Apple’s “Surprise and shine” event begins at 10:00 p.m. Pakistan time tonight, September 9, and viewers can watch the full launch through Apple’s official livestream above.
