Apple has a major iPhone redesign planned for 2017, with a glass body and edge-to-edge OLED display that includes an integrated Touch ID fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera.

OLED vs LED

OLED and LCD screens may not look different but OLED screens have many advantages. They have better color reproduction and improved contrast. LCD require a backlight but OLED don’t which entails one less layer of display on the phone. This could result in a new iPhone that is slimmer and lighter than its predecessors.

Each individual pixel of OLED lights up. Pixels that turn black don’t need to light up so it helps to conserve power.

The rumors  are that the upcoming device from Apple is going to come with too many different changes. There is also a chance that the iPhone 8 will come with a 3D camera.

This state-of-the-art camera will identify the physical objects in the real world using the Augmented Reality (AR) technology. It would help the apps to improve the fun for the users further.

This phone will come with a 5-inch edge-less display, a powerful fingerprint scanner, 3GB RAM, and an aluminum frame. However Apple has not conformed such reports.
