The report claims the second-generation iPhone SE will launch in May. The phone will have same 4″ display and design based on the original iPhone 5. It will feature a chip upgrade from A9 as used in iPhone 6s to A10 as used in iPhone 7, and continue to support Apple Pay using NFC.
However, the rumors claim that iPhone SE 2 won’t include a headphone jack despite having the same dimensions. Apple dropped the headphone jack on iPhones starting with the iPhone 7. According to reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the iPhone SE 2 will not feature 3D sensing capabilities. This new device will also not support the wireless charging.
According to report, the iPhone SE looks similar to the iPhone 5S, but it is to be expected that the iPhone SE 2 will look more like the iPhone 8, and may come with some different dimensions. The iPhone SE 2 might be available in Silver, Gold, and Space Grey like the iPhone 8.
Apple has not said anything about this news yet. But we will update you when we will get more information about it.
