iPhone X Listed Among the 25 Best Inventions of 2017 by Time Magazine

Time magazine releases a list of 25 best inventions 2017. Apple new flagship phone iPhone X is ranked in the list of 25 Best Inventions of 2017 for its new display and Face ID. According to Time magazine listed Apple’s anniversary edition as “A smarter Smartphone”.

iPhone X launched on November 3,2017 has most radical design changes that Apple has introduced since its inception in 2007. The home button for which Apple was famous for is also removed in iPhone X. iPhone X now includes a totally new user interface that has news gestures, new camera technology. The Anniversary flagship addition also features next generation biometric authentication in the form of Face ID.

Dan Rico, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering said:

I look at the design as something we really wanted to do since day one

At the start iPhone X has to face certain controversies but the demand of device kept on increasing. As we all know that Face ID of iPhone X failed to work on the launch ceremony. So from the very start people started making fool of them. But still the sale of iPhone X clearly proved that people still loved it.

Other inventions among list of 23 best inventions included Elevators that move sideways, a mug that heats up the coffee itself, a hijab that empowers Muslim athletes and Tesla self driving car.  Nintendo and fidget spinner also ranked in the list of 25 best inventions of 2017.

Regardless of its shortcoming we should agree that iPhone X deserves to be in the list of 25 Best Inventions of 2017 by Time Magazine. It was evident from the hype it created when it was launched. This brought the attention of tech industry towards it.
