iPhone X Sales Below Company’s Expectations

Apple had launched the iPhone X this year on the 10-year anniversary, a powerful and expensive smartphone. It is packed with high-end features, it’s by far the most advanced iPhone ever built. iPhone X Sales Below Company’s Expectations.

But iPhone X doesn’t offer enough incentive in terms of features to justify the high price. It has been approximately six weeks since the iPhone X went on sale, but Apple has not revealed the iPhone X sales numbers.

It is revealed by company that the demand had been “very strong.” But decline in the delivery in early November has speculated that demand might have cooled off. Though on other hand some insiders argued that the improved availability is due to the increased production.

According to Analyst Karl Ackerman, the Apple’s much-hyped iPhone X is not selling well as company was expecting. He pointed out that the demand is blow expectations because of the cost owning the smartphone.

Karl Ackerman also added that:

“Some investors may conclude this relates to better sales momentum for the X”, “but we are increasingly concerned that demand has been below initial expectations as users appear to have gravitated toward the previous iPhone models.” Sales so far have been “good, but not yet indicative of a ‘super cycle

Karl Ackerman said that Apple customers are opting for cheaper models such as the iPhone 7 series and iPhone 8 series. The anniversary iPhone doesn’t have enough new technologies to justify its high price. Face ID and the animated poop emoji are not enough to get customers to invest large amount of their money.
