IPR App Development Contest

The Indus Entrepreneurs TiE Islamabad in partnership with U.S Embassy, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority PTA, e-Creatorz (Pvt) Ltd and Computer Research (Pvt) Ltd brings Intelluctual Property Rights IPR App Development Contest.  The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was initiated in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with backgrounds from the Indus region. Thier mission is to nurture entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, education, incubating, and funding.

This contest is about the development of an app on Intellectual Property Rights. Intellectual Property Rights refers to the creations of ideas, plans or some other intangible assets which are in the mind of a person or possession of a company for a specific period of time.  These include copyrights, patents, trademarks etc. This is a great initiative taken by TiE Islamabad to further nurture the Intellectual Property Rights and people will get to know more about it as there is no such importance given to it in Pakistan.

So make yourself ready to develop an app on Intellectual Property Rights and get a chance to win cash reward and a chance to work with Warid Telecom. Warid Telecom is backed by Abu dhabi Group and is operating in Pakistan since May 2005. The cash reward is of PKR 200,000 and the winner will also get a chance to publish his/her app.

People can participate as an individual or in group form as well. In order to participate in the contest please visit the official Facebook page of TiE Islamabad and see the registration details.  After registration phase is completed you have to submit your app and related necessary documents required to qualify for judging phase. In judging phase a panel of judges will judge your app from different perspective.

Last date of registration is 28^th June 2015.
