Facebook keep on launching new features for its users to get the ball in their court when other social media platforms are concerned. In October, Facebook launched Marketplace to allow people to buy and sell items locally as the social media network tries new ways to keep its users engaged.
A company spokesman said:
“Based on behavior we’ve seen on Facebook, where many small businesses post about their job openings on their Page, we’re running a test for Page admins to create job postings and receive applications from candidates.”

LinkedIn generate maximum revenue from job hunters and recruiters. they pay monthly fees to post resume and connect with people. This is said to be the basic network for business.
On the other hand Facebook told that they have tested this new tool and US and plan to roll it out excessively in Canada soon. If companies pay Facebook for promotion, job opportunities may appear in news feed. Job hunters can apply by just clicking “apply now”. After clinking the button an online form will appear, having all the necessary information from the person’s Facebook profile. Applicants can edit and add to this information. According to Facebook they can review form before submitting it.
