IT Minister, Anusha Rahman to Represent Pakistan in World Economic Forum 2018

MOITT Minister Anusha Rahman khan has left for Davos to participate in a three days event, World Economic Forum-WEF 2018. She was invited by WEF Managing board, where she will represent Pakistan from IT sector. IT Minister, Anusha Rahman to Represent Pakistan in World Economic Forum 2018.

IT Minster, Anusha Rahman, will participate in various sessions related to Information and Communications Technologies. She will also attend bilateral meetings with technology leader across the world which will attend World Economic Forum.

Anusha will participate as a special guest panelist and will share her views on sessions including, connected corridors, protecting the digital civic space, privacy and security, protecting the digital space, leveraging digital to deliver value to society.

Anusha will represent Pakistan by sharing achievements of Pakistan in ICT industry during last year, 2017. She will also share her plans towards digital Pakistan 2020.

No Doubt, Pakistan has witnessed a huge growth in ICT sector during Anusha’s tenure as IT Minister. In her tenure, different IT projects were initiated which are a huge success in the industry. Anusha has always focused towards Digital Pakistan and has promoted Startup culture in Pakistan.

It should be mentioned here that Anusha Rahaman is a commissioner on the Broadband Commission since 2016. MOITT has successfully established first state of the art “National Incubation Centre” which has started nurturing the start-up / young entrepreneurs while four more such Incubation centers in all provincial capitals are also in the offing. Moreover, three specialized Incubation centers for Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics and Fin-Tech are also being established.
