Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has received total 4, 490 complaints during the month of August, 2017. Among all complaints against four telecom operators (Jazz, Ufone, Zong & Telenor Pakistan) PTCL, LDIs, WLL operators and ISPs by the consumers; PTCL & Jazz Top the Consumer Complaints Chart during August 2017-PTA.
Whereas, almost 92.41% of consumer complaints were resolved by the PTA.
Additionally, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has topped the chart with 1588 complaints and Jazz with 951 complaints is on second in the chart.
Exclusively the number of registered consumer complaints against Telcos are 2,812 during August, 2017; out of this figure, PTA successfully resolved 2,596 complaints. We expect that the telecom sector while improving their infrastructure and services do well in coming days so that consumers may register less complaints against them.
