Jazz Tops 4G Speed-PTA Announced Quarterly QoS Survey of CMOs

PTA has released Quarterly QoS Survey of CMOS, considering all the four operators of Pakistan. As expected, Jazz topped 4G by providing quality services to its users. PTA conducted an automated survey for 3G/4G speeds, voice and SMS delivery in nine major cities of Punjab, Sindh and KPK.

This survey was carried on for three months, from January 2019 to March 2019.

Tools Used:

The tools users to conduct the survey was NEMO automated QoS too.

Test Location:

The cities in which survey was carried on are as follows:

• D.I.Khan
• Peshawar
• Larkana
• Nawabshah
• Shikarpur
• Jacobabad
• Sahiwal
• Bhakkar
• Jhang

Key Performance Parameters:

The performance of data services of CMOs are checked by measuring two key performance indicators, i.e. user data throughput and signal strength.

4G Speed:

DI Khan had the maximum download speed of 36.21 Mbps when it comes to 4G network.

3G Speed:

When it comes to 3G, all operators witnessed marvellous speed however Zong topped the list.
