Karachi Matric Paper Gets Leaked on Social Media
Yesterday, in Karachi, a shocking incident happened in which the maths paper of the 10th grade was leaked on social media. The Matric examinations are currently being conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Karachi. The maths paper went viral on social media just before the start of the English paper for the ninth grade.
After the incident caught public attention, the Board’s spokesperson issued a strict warning regarding the use of mobile phones during the exam. He said that any electronic devices found would be captured immediately.
In addition, stringent measures have been put in place around the exam centers, and Section 144 has been enforced to maintain law and order.
Besides these measures, the shops selling photocopies in the vicinity of exam centers have been ordered to stay closed during the exam period.
What should be done?Â
To address the situation effectively, investigations should be carried out to identify the source of the paper leak. The authorities should also implement enhanced security measures at exam centers. These include stricter enforcement of rules regarding electronic devices and increased surveillance. Moreover, the board should leverage technology solutions such as encrypted question papers and advanced surveillance systems. The collaboration between educational authorities and law enforcement agencies is essential to coordinate efforts in preventing and addressing exam-related malpractices.
