KPITB Launched Health Portal App to Fight Dengue
Dengue Virus is spreading like a fire in Peshawar. Due to its wide spread in KPK, KPITB Launched Health Portal Application to Fight Dengue.

Now citizens will be able to report Dengue in Khyber PakhtunKhwa using Health Portal App. One can even report and monitor dengue using this application.
KPITB Launched Health Portal Application to Fight Dengue
The Health Portal App is designed for a everyone having simple English easily understood by everyone. It has content in both English and Urdu.
KPK Citizens can call on “1700” and can access Dengue Health Helpline 24 Hours a day. Health Portal App can be downloaded from Google Play Store soon.
This app can also be used by Health workers. They can login to spread awareness and report treatment activities.They can tell people about infectious diseases in communities in KPK by using this Health Portal App.
Dr. Shahbaz Khan, Managing Director of KPITB said,
“We were asked if there was a way technology could help calm growing public concerns around dengue, and we took that as an opportunity to build something that could potentially transform the public health sector in the province. I am extremely proud of my team and we hope to ensure successful deployment of the app in the coming days”
This is indeed a very positive step taken by KPITB. KPK health department will mobilize staff to collect data to identify public health trends. Fast development of this Health Portal is a proof that technology can do wonders and can help government to bring reforms.
