KPK Starts a Free Skill Development Program for Jobless IT Graduates

The Government of Kyber Pakhtoonkhwa is persistently working to promote and articulate PTI’s “Agenda of Change” by setting up a responsive social service delivery, economic prosperity and peace for all strategies. KPK government is using technology as their major weapon to fight back the social and administrative problems of the province. KPK government has initially computerized all its departments and also using mobile technology to establish good governance in KPK.

In this regard, the Government of KPK has offered free skill development courses for jobless IT graduates of the province. These subjects and courses offered are very much in demand and are expensive too that normally students can’t afford them. The courses include:

• Web Application
• Desktop Application
• Network Management
• Graphic Design

This initiative will be perhaps the best initiative if its type by any Pakistani provincial government to date, as it will bring drastic changes in the mindset of our youth and will help them in professional careers. Pakistan has so much untapped talent which needs to be shown the right path. This step by the KPK Government is beyond expectations. A brighter future will eventually follow.
