A training workshop was also held to brief real estate agents and other stakeholders in the use of the e-stamp papers. District administration  and PITB collectively arranged this training.

Speaking on the occasion, PBIT e-Governance Director General Sajid Latif said

e-stamp papers would be available at 65 branches of the Bank of Punjab (BoP). He said the provincial government had already introduced e-stamp papers in 10 districts of the province. It would be introduced in the remaining districts in phases. The new system would promote transparency and facilitate the public because of ease of use.

According to him, The new system would let applicants generate the challan online on their own. The introduction of e-stamp paper is a great step towards revolutionizing old government procedures. The step will also bring ease to the buying and selling of properties.

It has also been rumored that Rawalpindi will get e-stamp papers from 1 September. However It has also been rumored that The system has already been launched in Faisalabad. Soon we will update you about its confirmation.
