Lahore Transport Company Launches an App “Bus Da Pata”

Lahore Transport Company (LTC) has also launched its Application “Bus Da Pata”; Which has a simple interface and person can easily use it. This application informs the users about the arrival of bus, the trip of the bus or the stops of the bus, the bus location and also the charges of the bus. The application is available on Google Play Store. This application has been announced officially by the company on Tuesday 16 June 2015.

Lahore transport Company is offering citizen of Lahore a best transport system so that they can easily travel keeping in view the ages and the needs of different peoples around them. The main focus of the company is on these age groups:

• Old Citizen
• Disabled
• Student

For Old citizen of Pakistan they have launched a card facility with the age limit of 60 years, in 2011 this scheme was first introduced in which the age limit was 65 years but now limit has decreased to 60 years. All they have to do is to get registered in the office of the company. Registration procedure is that they have to come to the office with their own CNIC copy for just once and after few days their family member can collect that card.

Now if we take a look at the disabled person then they have to bring their two copies of B-Form/CNIC and their disabled certificate to get registered in the office and the Card fee is 100 Rs both for the Old citizen and the disabled person.  

For the students of schools and colleges they have introduced a scheme which is called as “Green Card Scheme” it has its own registration procedure. The students can register online and by paying charge of 10 Rs customer can travel to all routes of Lahore Transport Company buses. The e-ticketing system has also be been introduced.
