Latest Android M has Released and ready to come in market

This version of android has just removed the bugs, and made the lollipop android just better. The question to be raised is why this android has not a sweet name as its last versions were? The reason behind it is the naming conventions are following a specific pattern which is:

  • Ice-Cream Sandwich
  • Jelly Bean
  • Kit-Kat
  • Lollipop
  • M….??

May be this is why M is left alone that they found nothing to go with it sweetly. According to some news the name might be announced as Macadamia Nut Cookie Muffin or Milkshake later on. But lets see what happens.

Android released their developer preview a few days back. But the release date of Android M is announced to be Q3 of 2015 that would be September this year.

FEATURES OF ANDROID M:

1. Make Payments via Android Pay

Android Pay will not be available in Android M as in app but whenever to make a payment you just have to place your device on a compatible payment terminal and there you go.

2. Increased Security by FINGER PRINT Support

Android M is to be released only in those devices which support fingerprint. As in android lollipop is also been updated to 10% devices only. But this news has a great hype in the market. To increase the security of your smartphones Google android has put in their efforts to their level best as allowing you to unlock your device and pay for media from the Google Play store the fingerprint scanning tech is also open to developers.

3. Web Experience

Burke said that:

Chrome Custom Tabs is a new feature that gives developers a way to harness all of Chrome’s capabilities, while still keeping control of the look and feel of the experience.

Chrome Custom tabs will allow apps to open in a customized Chrome window on top of the active app, instead of separately launching Chrome app. This will increase productivity, speed and will give the user an enhanced experience.

4. Power Saving Mode with Android M

Android M uses a new function known as Doze which improves device standby time. Using motion detectors, it will be detected that a device has been idle for a while then it will automatically shut down all the background processes.

Android M will also feature many more additives which will reduce the RAM usage and increase system memory as well as battery.
