Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing said to a small group of journalists that the company may launch the Razr phones soon. When the journalists asked him about a possible Motorola Razr revival. He said,
“With the new technology, particularly foldable screens, I think you will see more and more innovation on our smartphone design. So hopefully what you just described (referring to the Moto RAZR brand) will be developed or realized very soon.”
The Motorola Razr is a series of filp phones that became popular in the mid-2000s. The V3 model is one of the biggest selling phones of all time with 130 million sales. The rise of touchscreen devices cause the decline of this series.
As HMD Global has brought back the Nokia phones and got huge popularity. So it may possible Lenovo has got that idea from Nokia to get its old series back. Let’s see when we will see the series back if the saying of Lenovo CEO is true.
