Lephone is a multinational mobile manufacturing company, based in China and is one of the leading mobile companies in China. They have recently introduced Lephone W12 in the market to touch the hearts of youth as this brand is a favorite amongst youngsters. In Pakistan, Lephone W12 got an entry in smartphones market with the calibration of Zong 4G.  Let’s go into the details of the features and specification of Lephone W12.

Lephone W12 has a 5 inches display with a processor of 1.3 GHz quad core. Powerhouse has a battery of 2,000 mAh. Moreover, it runs the version of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has 16 GB ROM and 1 GB RAM. The back camera has 8 MP lens while front camera has 2 MP lens. The best thing is that Zong 4G Lephone W12 is a 4G enabled device.

Display of Lephone W12:

Lephone W12 has a supportive resolution of 720X1280 pixels and density of the screen is 320 dpi for icon and texts visibility. It supports a graphic card of Mali-400 MP. The multi-touch has scored 5 points in the test.

Design of Lephone W12:

Lephone W12 has a touch screen with dimensions of 144.6 X72.3X8.5mm, which shows its thickness.  Weight is 146 gm which makes it light weighted. Screen to body ratio is 66%.

The front body has 5 inches screen. At the top side of the front body, you will find an ear piece, flashlight, and front camera while at the bottom there are the working function keys. The screen is surrounded by bezel layer.

If you observe the top edge you will find an only audio jacket of 3.5 mm moreover USB port is present at the bottom edge.  At the right edge, there are volume keys and power button while the left edge has nothing.

Lephone W12 back body is simple, there is an 8 MP lens camera and flash at the top side. Name of Lephone is marked at the center. Logo of Zong 4G is also marked at the downside moreover speaker grill is boldly placed at the downside of back body.

Back Camera of Lephone W12:

The primary camera of Lephone W12 has an 8MP lens on the rear with a flashlight. It can record video in 720p quality. Main features are Beauty, Water Mark, and Time Lapse. There are some color effects such as Sepia, Fisheye, Grey, Cool color, AB Color, Soft Glow, Focus, and Dew.

We have tested the back camera image result. Picture quality is pretty decent compared to other smartphones in this price range. Moreover, temperature is also fine. Brightness might require balancing. In short, image results are fine.

Front Camera of Lephone W12:

The 2MP front camera of Lephone W12 has reasonable image results after testing. Picture quality goes well with the other features of Lephone W12. Video record quality is 480p.

Main features are Beauty, Water Mark and Time-Lapse. Color effects are Sepia, Fisheye, Grey, Cool color, AB Color, Soft Glow, Focus and Dew.

Memory of Lephone W12:

The internal memory of Lephone W12 is satisfactory with 16 GB ROM which can be expanded to 32 GB with the access of memory card. It has 1 GB RAM, fairly adequate for routine browsing and processing.

Network/Connectivity of Lephone W12:

Lephone W12 is 2G, 3G and 4G enabled device. It provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio. Wi-Fi works at b/g/n standards and Bluetooth version is 4.0.

There is dual sim option availability. The device has two separate sim slots and one separate memory card slot.

Battery of Lephone W12:

Lephone W12 has li-ion battery of 2,000 mAh, which shows that battery is average. It can give us just 10 to 12 standby hours of usage and 3 to 4 hours of talk time. The battery is removable and present inside the removable back cover. 0.2 Amp charger will charge the battery approximately in two to two and half hours.

Interface of Lephone W12:

Now its turn to look into the interface of Lephone W12. The gadget comes with 5 inches screen. Moreover, it runs the Android version of 6.0 (Marshmallow).

On the lock screen, you will notice connectivity notifications at the top. You will find bloatware application 360 security on the lock screen and its main features are also available on the main screen, such as Boost, Alarms and Clean but you can disqualify them from the lock screen. Date and time widgets are present at the bottom with the notification of remaining battery percentage. Camera option is also present on the lock screen that you can use the camera while the screen is locked. You have to swipe right to unlock the screen.

After unlocking the screen let’s take a tour of the main screen. On the main screen of Lephone W12, there are time and date widgets on the top left. Applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns. Lephone W12 possess application drawer, for application drawer just swipe right and you will get access to your desired applications. You can get a quick access to any application of your choice via search bar, which exists at the top in the application drawer. Some bloatware applications are already installed such as Zong Cinema, Zong Tv, Candy Wall, Freezer etc.

Processor of Lephone W12:

Lephone W12 has 1.3 GHz quad core processor with the chipset of spreadtrum SC9832A, which is an entry level ARM-SoC (system on a chip). It integrates quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at up to 1.7 GHz.
