Lephone is a multinational mobile manufacturing company, based in China and is one of the leading mobile companies in China. They have recently introduced Lephone W7 Plus in the market to touch the hearts of youth as this brand is popular in the youngsters. In Pakistan, Lephone W7 Plus got an entry in smartphones market with the collaboration of Zong 4G.  Let’s go into the details of the features and specification of Lephone W7 Plus.

Lephone W7 Plus is a mid-range smartphone. It is 5 inches’ device with the supportive resolutions of 720 pixels. Topping everything else, it has 4G/3G access and is in the Price Range of PKR 8k to 10k making it one of the most affordable 4G handset in the Market.

The system is mechanized with 1.3 Quad-core processor with a ROM of 8GB and RAM of 1GB. Camera section has 5MP lens for its front and back camera while 1800 mAh battery is getting used as its powerhouse.

Display of Lephone W7 Plus:

Lephone W7 Plus has a regular display feature with 5.0 inches’ screen that works with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display. It has 320 dpi for the clear visibility of icons and texts.

Multi-touch has scored 5-points in a multitouch test that shows it has a regular touch panel.

W7 Plus is using Mali-400 MP as its graphic card for the better display of graphics and 3D games.

Deisgn of Lephone W7 Plus:

Let’s talk about the design section of Lephone W7 plus in which its dimensions are 142.3 x 71.4 x 8.4 mm while weight is 150 grams which are very reasonable.

Front Body has an earpiece and front camera lens with some sensor at its top side whereas downside has three functional keys. A very thick layer of same body color has covered the device from every corner of it.

If we talk about its edges then it has 3.5 mm audio jack at its top side whereas downside has an only microUSB side. One edge has volume keys and power button while another one has nothing on it.

Back side has round shaped camera lens with round shaped LED flashlight at its top side. Name of Lephone is mentioned in the center side furthermore speakers are also present on the back side.

Memory of Lephone W7 Plus:

Lephone w7 plus has 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM which is very reasonable in routine browsing and processing, considering the affordability of the phone. We can increase its memory up to 32GB with the access of memory card and the place of the memory card is separate from SIM slots.

Camera of Lephone W7 Plus:

Lephone W7 plus has 5MP lens for its both front and back camera lens whereas the back camera is packed with LED flashlight. The back camera can record videos in 720p while front one can record in 480p.

The main modes are beauty mode, watermark and time-lapse. Some effects are also available such as sepia, fisheye, gray, abcolor and many others. The interface is very simple and easy to use. We can increase or decrease beauty level in beauty mode. The back camera results are reasonable compared to smartphones in the same price bracket. Network/Connectivity of Lephone W7 Plus:

Lephone w7 plus is 4G enabled device that supports 3G/2G network also. This makes it one of the most affordable 4G handsets in the market. It supports some more connectivity options such as Bluetooth, WiFi and FM Radio.

WiFi has standards of b/g/n while Bluetooth version is 4.0. Memory card option is also available inside the back cover and we can increase its memory up to 32GB only.

Battery of Lephone W7 Plus:

Lephone W7 Plus has 1800 mAh Li-ion battery and it is removable. This kind of battery is good for normal usage and gives us 7-8 hours of standby usage with 3-4 hours of talk time.

Interface of Lephone W7 Plus:

If we look at the interface of Lephone W7 Plus, it runs Android version 6.0 (Marshmallow).

The lock screen is little different as compared to other devices because it has date and time widget at its downside. If you have to unlock the device you have to swipe right to the screen. It doesn’t have any application manager, you just have to swipe right and look for your desired application.

Lephone W7 Plus has Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor with the chipset of Spreadtrum SC9832A which is faster than any dual-core chipset.

Antutu Benchmarking of Lephone W7 Plus:

We have tested Lephone W7 plus with Antutu benchmarking and it has scored 23,657 points which are considered as a reasonable score. The multi-touch test scored 5-points in the test.

Vellamo Benchmarking of Lephone W7 Plus:

Vellamo Benchmark took 3 tests to check the efficiency of the device. Multi-cores has scored 1,155 points, the metal test has scored 685 points while browser scored only 1,695 points.

Conclusion:

Lephone W7 Plus is 4G device with the collaboration of Zong 4G to provide the LTE devices in the possibly the most affordable price range. The device would allow users to enjoy the fastest 4G Internet and most features have performed reasonably when tested.
