LG, a South Korean Multinational Company, has announced a new flip phone, Gentle, for its customers. The Gentle runs the latest Operating System Android 5.1 Lollipop.
LG Brings Back The Flip Phone, Introduces Android-Powered Version and 1.1 GHz Quad Core Processor
Initially there was a craze for flip phones. But later on Smartphones have largely replaced flip phones because they are better computing devices with big touchscreens. No doubt they are easier to use, have better cameras, connect to the full Internet and have lots of apps. But now-a-days smartphones have become so large that they don’t fit in your pocket, and obviously are difficult to use with one hand.
The Gentle is an amazing phone as it can fit in your pocket and like smart phones has Operating System of Android Lollipop 5.1. It seems like a useful device for kids and adults, who both need the tactility of physical keypads. Moreover it provides the durability of a clamshell design that protects the screen. The phone’s 1,700 mAh battery will likely last for days since the phone doesn’t guzzle power from tons of pixels and 3D games.
Not only the phone has 5.1 Android Lollipop OS but also it has 1.2 GHz Quad core Processor to speed up the Phone’s functioning. Moreover it has 4 GB internal storage also with 1 GB RAM.
Good news about this phone is that it is available at very affordable rat which is about $ 171. But unfortunately the phone is currently available in Korea only. But soon it will be able in Asia according to the LG Company.
