LG to Showcase Levitating Bluetooth Speakers at CES 2017
We have previously seen waterproof speakers. Even some speakers are meant to survive after great explosion. But this levitating speakers are the first in market. LG has announced to showcase their Bluetooth speaker that can fly in air.LG to Showcase Levitating Bluetooth Speakers at CES 2017.
These magical speakers hover in mid air. It’s pure white in color and looks like it’s an interior of space. The speaker in named as LG PJ9 and is going to be unveiled at CES 2017 in Las Vegas next week. This event is planned from January 5 to January 8, 2017.
LG to Showcase Levitating Bluetooth Speakers at CES 2017
PJP basically has two parts. One is portable wireless speaker and the other is powered levitation station. The portable speaker floats in air by using electromagnets. This Bluetooth speaker has 360-degree omni-directional driver. The base levitation station has sub woofer with dual passive radiators.
This speaker can be connected to two Bluetooth devices at a time. the portable speaker can be used with its base station where they can play sound at a time. It can also be used alone simultaneously. To use portable speaker outdoor, LG has made it IPX7 certified.
Its battery will last for 10 hours. However when it gets discharged, it can be charged by placing it on its base station. If the floating speaker is some where near the base station it automatically descends down and place itself over base station to get charged. When the charge is complete, it rises again. The pricing and other features of the speaker would be formally disclosed at CES next year.
