LG is working to launch a smartphone that will come with an option for a second-screen attachment. However, the name for the device has not been finalized. The attachment will double the total screen size of the device. According to the report, the attachment will come as a sort of case with a screen.
Most people were confused that LG is launching a foldable smartphone but a report by Korean-language outlet Naver has confirmed that this phone will not fold.
LG Upcoming Phone to Have an Attachable Second Screen
This upcoming smartphone will be one of the phones that will make its debut at the Mobile World Congress trade show coming in the next month.
However, there is no information about the specs and features of the phone yet. Apparently, the second screen is an optional attachment that is designed to extend the screen size of the device. There is no information yet that how that will work. Moreover, it is also not clear whether it will be in the box or sold as a separate accessory.
LG is continuously working to introduce outlandish smartphone designs in order to maintain it’s position in the mobile industry. Last year, the company introduced G7 with an extra-loud, so-called Boom Box speaker with five cameras.
