LG V40 ThinQ Goes Official with Five Cameras
Finally, the LG V40 is now official after several weeks of teasers. As we have seen before in teaser, the device has just appeared with five cameras, including three in the back and two on the front, that gives a degree of creative freedom.
The LG V40 has so many things identical to V30 and the V35. IP68 water-resistance rating and military-grade drop protection certification makes the phone tougher than it looks. In the US, the phone will be available in black and blue colours but internationally the phone will also be available in grey and raspberry rose.

Google Assistant key on the left side is a new thing in LG’s new device while the fingerprint scanner is at the back.
The LG V40 comes with a notch at the top of its display, but if you are not a fan of notch then you can “hide” the notch by applying a black background to the side screen area. The handset has packed with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box but will be updated to 9.0 Pie.
The device is running Snapdragon 845 and is backed by a decent 6GB of RAM with 64GB of ROM. The microSD card slot is also available for storage expansion.
Five cameras make it one of the most versatile phones. At the back, there is a 12MP main camera with OIS, a wider, F1.5 aperture for better light sensitivity, and a larger sensor with larger, 1.4-micron pixels.
There is 3.5mm headphone jack in LG V40. The powerhouse of the phones is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery.
