LG V40 to Come with the Big Screen
LG V40 is expected to be a really big handset. Yes, according to new renders leak, the V40 sports a 6.3-inch display that is 0.3 inches larger than the screens of its predecessors, the LG V30 and LG V35.
The phone is expected to be released in the first half of October. Few renders showed that the phone is coming with a notch and triple rear camera. LG has opted to keep the rear cameras in the middle and in a horizontal orientation. The phone has a dual front-facing camera. Now a new set of leaked renders show another look at the upcoming smartphone.
LG V40 might be Largest LG Phones Ever
The bigger display makes the LG V40 larger overall. This upcoming device measures 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, so it will be taller, a bit wider and thicker than the V30 and V35 (both measuring 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm). If these dimensions are accurate then V40 will be the third-largest high-end LG smartphone to date.
Some other features we got from renders include a near bezel-less design with a slim notch. Moreover, the phone will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack – a necessity for Hi-Fi Quad DAC audio.
There are no more details about LG V40 but it is to be expected that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor and will have a USB Type-C port. We are expecting that the device will be equipped by Android 9 Pie at launch.
