LUMS Center of Entrepreneurship Becomes NIC Lahore

As the Government of Pakistan announced at the time of establishment of National Incubation Center (NIC) at federal level that it will also launch NIC at provincial levels to grow startup ecosystem in Pakistan. Hence, another NIC has been established in Lahore at LUMS Center of Entrepreneurship. The news appeared on Facebook page of LUMS Center of Entrepreneurship yesterday when they change its name to NIC Lahore.

LUMS Center of Entrepreneurship becomes NIC Lahore

The National Incubation Center (NIC) was established in Feb, 2017 under the collaboration of MoIT, ICT R&D Fund, Jazz and TeamUp. NIC successfully selected around 80 startups from across the entire Pakistan in its first cohort. Moreover, it aims to provide house to these 80 startups and more in future with access to a state-of-the-art global facilities.

Apart from excellent mentor-ship other services at NIC include free broadband internet, silent rooms, gaming zone, curriculum for startup education, best business leaders as mentors and an innovation lab designed on international standards.
