Mark Zuckerberg has criticized the rapidly growing Chinese short-video app over the censored political protest, including in the United States. On Tuesday, Zuckerberg said in his speech at Georgetown University in Washington, that social media platforms of Facebook such as WhatsApp were used by activists and protesters around the World, as its chats are encrypted and privacy of users is protected.
