Our industry has successfully completed the NGMSA process with its last 4G auction and the credit goes to the whole fraternity. PTA and MoITT especially deserve appreciation for taking bold and timely decisions that have enabled the growth and development in ICT sector. After the completion of 4G auction, the competition has become even fiercer among Zong, Jazz and Telenor while Ufone has lost it all with almost no future in broadband market. In our feature article, “Raising the Bar for the mobile industry- Pakistan moving towards 5G” we have discussed the position of each operator after the last 4G auction & their possible strategies for the future.
