Meet M, Facebook’s Personal Assistant that Lives Inside Messenger

Facebook has recently launched many initiatives such as moments, Selfie Drone, Facebook.org , Solar drones, Facebook Lite etc. , they are also working on much more. Now Facebook launches personal digital assistant named M. M is said to be a personal digital assistant with a Human touch. This digital assistant is for Messenger. This personal assistant will surely compete with the personal assistants of Apple, Google and Microsoft.

Facebook Messenger head David Marcus discussed the new service called M:

M is a Digital Assistant with Human Touch

M is a completely different and competitive assistant that can surely replace your Human Assistant in a way because With M, you can buy items, get your gifts delivered, book hotels and restaurants, check appointments and flights and a lot more.

Marcus adds:

This personal assistant is surely getting a competition for Apple’s Siri, Microsoft’s Cortana and Google’s Google.  This is quite sure that Facebook’s M will surely handle your questions in a mannered way because of the massive data you have on your Facebook. This will also make easier to have things in a short span of time. You can easily do the chores with the help of your personal assistant “M”

This rollout is slow and a few hundred users will be seeing M in their Messenger for the time being.
