Microsoft Releases Windows 10 S for its Surface Laptops. Windows 10 S is streamlined version of its famous operating system which is aimed to unveil for low-cost “Surface Laptops” for students. Microsoft has tried to take share from the popular “Google’s Chrome OS-run” computers.

Microsoft said that:

“The Surface laptop integrated with Windows 10 S is priced from $999 and will be available for pre-order starting Tuesday.”

Windows 10 S has been revealed after the company announced its Q3 revenues which indicated that Microsoft’s Surface laptops sale has fallen behind comparing it with other companies. Hence, Microsoft has decided to launch a cheap version of Windows for surface laptops.

“The company has also tied up with companies such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Futijsu, Toshiba, HP, and Samsung to offer a range of Windows 10 computers for students priced from $189.”
