After the miserable incident all the relevant governments took many steps for the safety measures. Pakistan using the smart technology introduced the pilgrims trackers for each pilgrim so that their location can be identified. To ensure the safety of the people performing Hajj Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Yusuf said that;

“Each pilgrim will be tracked and accounted for,”

How the tracker works:

The tracker would be fixed with lockets and bracelets of the pilgrimages to monitor their movements. They can be easily traced out in the incidents like Stampede with the help of the sensors on the tracker. These trackers will also be attached to a centrally controlled monitoring system working 24hours in both the cities of Saudi Arabia.

While answering the complaints regarding the residential issues of the pilgrims, Sardar Yusuf said that all Pakistani pilgrims would have their residential place within 500 meters of the holy places in Makkah and Medina.

Government of Pakistan has also set up a helpline on which people can get quick answers to their questions about Hajj by dialing 051-9205696. With these facilities one can hope that the Hajj 2016 would be more organized and systematic.
