Sharmeen Obaid Introducing a Unique Mobile Cinema Project. Now viewers will be able to experience movies via mobile cinema. They won’t have to go to cinemas to watch movies thanks to; mobile cinema.

Sharmeen Obaid’s production company SOC Films is introducing a new project called Dekh Magar Pyaar Se (Look-  But with Love). The project is all about taking cinema to the people.

The mobile cinema anticipates to compensate for the lack of community spaces in Pakistan.

“SOC Films has been screening its films and projects across Pakistan for a number of years. We have realized that there are very few community centers and places where the public in smaller cities can watch quality entertainment.”

The Oscar-winning filmmaker said.

As we all know that people living in far away places don’t have the facility or community space to go to cinemas and watch movies. So Dekh Magar Pyaar Se is an endeavor to bring films, music, animation to a vast community.

“We are extremely excited about our new venture; an open call will be going out to filmmakers across Pakistan. And we look forward to introducing their work to different audiences.”

Though this initiative isn’t exactly the first of its kind. The things that sets its apart that the project will travel all across Pakistan.

Dekh Magar Pyaar Se will take the Mobile Cinema into Communities where They Have not had the Opportunity to Watch Films

Obaid explained that,

“Dekh Magar Pyaar Se will travel across all provinces, starting off in Karachi in March. We’re creating a route that will take the mobile cinema into communities where they have not had the opportunity to watch films of this caliber. We’re encouraged by other such initiatives and hope that together we can all create a difference in society.”

The beta testing will start in March and will be available at the end of that month, Sharmeen added. So lets wait and see how this experience is going to be. It seems really exciting that movie lovers will be able to experience mobile cinema. This project is a good experience for those who need this the most.
