Mobilink Foundation Relief Operations in Tharparker. Food supplies for 13,000 affectees have been distributed in famine affectees so far
Mobilink Foundation has initiated the second phase of relief operation in Tharparker as means of providing support to the affectees of famine in the region. During the 2nd phase, Mobilink Torchbearers visited the disaster-hit region and handed over food and water supplies for 5000 affectees taking the total number of beneficiaries to 13,000. Mobilink Foundation collaborated with Pakistan Navy to transport food supplies to Tharparker famine hit areas.

In the first phase of the relief operation Mobilink Foundation in collaboration with Pakistan Navy provided relief aid to sustain more than 8,000 individuals for a period of 2 weeks. In the past Mobilink Torchbearers have provided monetary as well as relief assistance to the victims of earthquake in 2005 and the floods in 2010. In 2013 Mobilink Torchbearers were the only employees of the cellular company to personally take food and basic supplies to victims of the Awaran earthquake.
