Mobilink VP Corporate Affairs Agha Qasim Leaves Mobilink

Today Mobilink has annoucned big news with some drastic change in its board of director’s panel. Mr. Agha Muhammad Qasim the Chief Regulatory and Corporate Affairs willingly decided to chase some other goals outside the Mobilink Company.

Before joining Mobilink, Agha Qasim got experience with Occidental Petroleum Inc. for 6 years and his last assignment was managing the accounting, budgeting and inventory system of joint venture accounts. He also remained associated with A. F. Ferguson, a member firm of the Price Waterhouse Coopers group. He holds a MBA degree in Finance and is Certified Public Accountant. He also has a degree of a CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) certification.

Agha Qasim  has more than 25 years experience across financial management, accounting and general management.  Agha Qasim joined Mobilink in 1994 in the Finance department controlling different financial aspects of the company including budgeting & planning to operational finance, treasury and taxation. He then upgraded his position as Director Finance in 2002. He later moved on to become the Head of Administration. In his recent assignment in 2007, Mr.Agha being a Vice President Corporate Affairs managing key areas of Regulatory, legal Affairs and Government Relations.

Mr.Agha Qasim will provide his services till April 30, 2016. The announcement of VP Corporate Affairs is yet to reveal. Interestingly, a continuous trend can be observed in Mobilink Board of directors major entities giving the hint of some strategic planning.
