Pakistan is moving towards a multidimensional revolution in the shape of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). It is considered a strategic game changer that will make Pakistan a richer and stronger entity than ever before. This will finally help Pakistan to get its economic wheels turning. Sindh Ministry of Information Science and Technology has signed MOU with China under China Pakistan Economic Corridor for establishing Information Technology park in Sindh. This initiative will increase IT education in Sindh.

This news was announced by Dr Sikandar Ali Shoro, special Assistant for information Science & Technology, Chief Minister Sindh. He appeared as Chief Guest “Consumer Products & Services Conference CPSQC 2017” with the theme of “Everyday Leadership to Build a Quality World Together.
Dr Sikandar revealed that government is also working on safe city project with the goal to install 10k surveillance cameras at different areas of Karachi. This project will help in eradicating criminal activities.
Dr Sikandar also praised TCEP for successfully organizing consecutive 7th Quality Conference. While paying his gratitude Sikandar said that:
It is our government’s vision and mission to launch state-of-the-art IT parks in Pakistan at the earliest to provide an eco-system for the IT industry of Pakistan. Therefore, she stressed the Korean team to expedite the work on establishment of first state of the art IT Park.”
This is a very good step from Government as this technology park will not only boost the economic growth of the country but will also provide job opportunities to thousands of unemployed youth.
