Moto E5 Play is the affordable version of Moto E5. Now the company has announced a further downgraded version of Original Moto E5 Play named as “Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition“. The Android Go Edition is most probably based on Android Oreo Go. Android Oreo Go allows the OS to run on ultra low-end hardware due to which the price of the smartphone is automatically reduced. The Android Go Edition will have a slightly bigger, yet cheaper display, less RAM and a smaller battery as compared to the original Moto E5 Play.

The price of this handset is announced to be €109 in Europe and £99.95 for the UK. Motorola also revealed that the new smartphone will hit the Latin American market too by the end of this month.

The Android Go Edition will have a bigger screen of 5.84″ as compared to Moto E5 Play whose screen size was 5.2″.

The Android Go Edition will have a 2,100 mAh battery as compared to 2,800 mAh Moto E5 Play battery.

The Android Go Edition will have 1 GB RAM while its predecessor had 2 GB RAM.

The new edition is expected to have low price as compared to the old versions because of some downgraded specs.
