Motorola Razr Flex Wide Foldable Specs Leak Ahead of Expected December Launch

Motorola is preparing to enter the growing wide-foldable smartphone market with a new device that could be called the Motorola Razr Flex. The company has already teased the Motorola Razr Flex Wide Foldable, and a new leak has now revealed several specs about its design, display, cameras, hardware, and battery.
The name Razr Flex is reportedly being used internally, although Motorola has not confirmed whether it will be the final retail name. The device is said to carry the internal codename, Parker.
Motorola Razr Flex Wide Foldable Specs Leak Ahead of Expected December Launch
Large 165Hz Folding Display
According to the leaked specifications, the Motorola Razr Flex will feature a 6.92-inch OLED folding display. The screen is expected to offer a resolution of 2364 x 1728 pixels and a high 165Hz refresh rate, which could provide smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming.
When folded, users will have access to a 4.97-inch OLED cover display with a resolution of 1140 x 1736 pixels. This larger-than-usual outer screen could allow users to handle more tasks without opening the phone.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Processor
The wide foldable is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It will reportedly come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Interestingly, the leaked information claims Motorola may offer only this single storage configuration. There could be no higher-storage variant at launch.
Dual 50MP Rear Cameras
The Motorola Razr Flex is also expected to focus on photography. The rear camera setup reportedly includes a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Motorola may also place a 32MP selfie camera on each display, giving the phone two front-facing cameras in total. This setup could allow users to take selfies using either the inner or outer screen.
5,000mAh Battery and Wireless Charging
The phone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery. It will reportedly support 25W wireless charging, although details about wired charging speeds have not been revealed in the leak.
The device is said to measure 110 x 149 x 5.8mm when unfolded and 110 x 76 x 12.6mm when folded. Its reported weight is 215 grams.
Android 17 Out of the Box
The Razr Flex is expected to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. For durability, the device reportedly carries IP48 and IP49 certifications for dust and water resistance.
Motorola is reportedly planning to launch the foldable in mid-December 2026, with Android 17 installed from the start. The leaked color options include Pantone Coriander and Pantone Dark Botanical Garden.
Motorola has not yet confirmed the complete specifications, final name, pricing, or launch date. These details should therefore be treated as leaked information until the company officially announces the device.
