NADRA Introduces Plots Balloting Software for CDA
The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has made the software for the Capital Development Authority (CDA), which would be used for balloting of plots to make sure the process is conducted without any impartiality and to ensure that it will be transparent and fair. The software was demonstrated at CDA headquarters on Tuesday.

CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal, Member Administration and Estate Amer Ali Ahmed and officers of Information Technology Directorate of CDA and NADRA were also there at CDA Headquarters. The technical competence and functioning of the software were observed during the demonstration of the software. The software prepared by NADRA would be used in future for balloting of plots to ensure ultimate transparency in the process.

CDA Chairman said that he expects that use of NADRA’s software would eliminate concerns regarding transparency in balloting of plots. He also revealed that NADRA would also cooperate with CDA for computerization of record starting with that of Estate Management Directorate. The record of the revenue, property tax and other associated directorates would also be computerized to help the people and facilitate in compilation of consolidated information.
Member Administration and Estate Amer Ali Ahmed briefed during the meeting that CDA is also taking initiatives for further up-gradation of One Window directorate adding that whole system at One Window Operation Directorate would be computerized for providing modern services to the people. Personal information of proprietors property would be safe and intrusion of workers would also be abridged, with the computerization of One Window Operation Directorate.
