National ICT R&D Fund to Host National Competition-FYP

Good news for students who want to their projects to be funded as National ICT R&D Fund to Host National Competition-FYP. This event will be held on 19,May,2017 at Hotel Margala, Islamabad. For this reason ICT R&D has launched National Grassroots ICT Research Initiative.

National ICT R&D Fund to Host National Competition-FYP

This initiative aims to promote, enable, and encourage R&D culture at the grassroots level by funding relatively high caliber R&D projects. FYP students will get  mentor ship of faculty members in chartered universities of both Public and Private sector.

M Yousaf Husaain, CEO, National ICT R&D fund revealed that such competitions not only help students to generate funding for their FYPs but also motivates them to take part in such competitions with high morals.

At competition at National Level, following prizes will be awarded:

 

  • National Champion
  1. Student Team (Maximum of 4):                       Cash Prize of Rs. 400,000/-
  2. FYP Supervisor    :                                         Cash Prize of Rs. 100,000/-
  • First Runners Up
  1. Student Team (Maximum of 4):                        Cash Prize of Rs. 300,000/-
  2. FYP Supervisor:                                             Cash Prize of Rs. 75,000/-
  • Second Runners Up
  1. Student Team (Maximum of 4):                       Cash Prize of Rs. 200,000/-
  2. FYP Supervisor:                                             Cash Prize of Rs. 50,000/-

Such events not only create mental stability for youth but also create awareness for them to excel in market. This is a very recommended initiative on part of MOITT as it is evident that they want the students of Pakistan to excel in tech field.
