National Savings and NTC Join Hands for IT Based Services

Mr. Zafar Masud, Director General, Central Directorate of National Saving (CDSN) along with his team visited National Telecommunication Corporation Headquarters. He was briefed about NTC’s network and ICT Platform. He showed highest interest to acquire services from NTC as per government policy for achieving the objective of CDNS automation. Discussion on SMS solution for information of National Saving customers, Intranet connectivity of National Saving Center across the country and e-mail solution were made.

NTC offered full support to CDNS for provision of all kind of ICT services through one window operation. During discussion Viqar Rashid Khan, Managing Director NTC, expressed that NTC is capable enough to fulfill the requirement of all types of IT & Telecommunication services of National Saving of Pakistan.

Managing Director, NTC further briefed that NTC has established a Cloud based National Data Center for extending data services to the Federal, Provincial governments and the strategic public sector organizations. This Data Centre is the first of its kind in the Public sector and has been equipped with a layered security platform. More emphasis was given on its 24×7 availability with stringent security arrangement.

He further described that NTC is enduring to facilitate the customers with quality ICT connectivity and keeping itself abreast with the operators having excellent profile and follow international standards. For it excellent performance, NTC has emerged as a profitable organization which is in accordance with the Government objective of sustainability of autonomous bodies.
