Iphone 5 to have a 4 Inch Screen says Wall Street Journal
Amidst great speculation arrives news of the new iPhone later in 2012. Although an official announcement is yet to be made, all eyes are open for what changes the iPhone will bring to the now slightly dated iPhone 4S.
Wall Street Journal reports have come in to report the arrival of new iPhone displays ordered by Apple. The screens are said to measure 4 inches diagonally. LG Display, Sharp and Japan Display have been identified as the companies being contracted by Apple.
Several reasons have been speculated for the increase in screen size. However WSJ has stated that Apple is complying to the requests of loyal customers who want Apple to change from the class 3.5 inch screen to a larger display. Nothing is yet known, regarding whether this switch will actually take place however with the change in times, this might be a suitable strategy to adapt.
