No Hike Expected: Galaxy S25 Price Rumors Put Buyers at Ease

The highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series will comprise the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The good news is that the series may launch at the same price point as its predecessor in multiple regions. Previous rumors hinted at a potential price hike, however, the latest reports from Northern Europe, particularly Sweden brought a sigh of relief for Samsung lovers. The Galaxy S25 series price will reportedly be the same, offering excellent value for money despite several meaningful upgrades.

If this pans out, the Swedish prices for the Galaxy S25 series are anticipated to mirror those of the Galaxy S24 lineup:

  • Galaxy S25 (128GB): SEK 11,490
  • Galaxy S25+ (256GB): SEK 14,490
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB): SEK 17,990

For other European regions, the equivalent pricing will be โ‚ฌ899, โ‚ฌ1,149, and โ‚ฌ1,449, respectively. Moreover, the tech giant will continue its tradition of launch promotions, offering free storage upgrades. So, all early adopters could get 256GB of storage for the Galaxy S25 and 512GB for the S25+ and S25 Ultra at no additional cost.

Galaxy S25 Price to Stay Unchanged Despite Anticipated Upgrades

The Galaxy S25 series may not bring drastic design overhauls. However, it will bring several key improvements. European users will benefit significantly as the tech giant moves away from the Exynos 2400 processor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, offering a significant performance boost.

Other upgrades include:

  • Increased RAM: The Galaxy S25 will now feature 12GB RAM as standard, up from 8GB in the Galaxy S24. The larger S25+ and S25 Ultra models will reportedly offer configurations with up to 16GB RAM.
  • Enhanced Camera Setup: The Galaxy S25 Ultra will boast a new 50MP ultra-wide camera. However, the rest of its camera hardware will remain unchanged, maintaining Samsungโ€™s high-quality imaging standards.
  • Qi2 Wireless Charging: The series will include support for Qi2 wireless charging, introducing more convenience and compatibility with advanced magnetic accessories.

Battery life, charging speeds, and sleek designs will remain unchanged as that of the previous generation, striking a balance between familiarity and innovation. If Samsung sticks to the same price structure, the Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to offer exceptional value. The upcoming lineup can further solidify Samsungโ€™s position as a leader in the premium smartphone market.
