The company had been updating their handsets gradually according to the roadmap set by them. The Nokia 2 is next in line from the company that is soon going to get the Android Oreo Update. Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer Nokia unveiled that Nokia 2 Oreo Update will soon roll out to the users. However, the sad part is that Nokia 2 users cannot get Android Go Support due to low RAM.
Nokia 2 Oreo Update May Not Run As Smooth As Nougat
The update is expected to hit the smartphones very soon. However, the Oreo requires more resources so, it may not run as smooth as Nougat. So, it will be up to that whether you stick to the older version or install the new Oreo one.
Nokia 2 smartphone was launched back in 2017. It has a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The storage of Nokia 2 is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. In addition to that, the Nokia 2 sports an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera for clicking selfies. It sports a 4100mAh non-removable battery that keep the lights on. Furthermore, the device measures 143.50 x 71.30 x 9.30 mm.
Connectivity options included in the handset are dual SIM (GSM + GSM), Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB, 3G, and 4G. Moreover, the handset comes with a number of integrated sensors including compass, magnetometer, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. The Nokia 2 color options include Pewter/ Black, Pewter/ White and Copper/ Black colors.
