Nokia has been re-launched in Pakistan and they are expanding their services rapidly. The Nokia 5 is a new smart phone which will reveal today in Nokia 5 Review. It is the start of new series where new possibilities will open for both company and smartphone users too. The price of Nokia 5 in Pakistan is PKR.21,900/-.

Nokia 5 has many great features such as 5.2 inches’ IPS LCD screen whereas it supports 4G,3G network also. It runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with the super fast chip set of Qualcomm Furthermore Octa-core processor is packed in it.

Display of Nokia 5:

The Nokia 5 has 5.5 inches’ screen which is packed with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It supports the resolutions of 720 x 1280 pixels whereas the supportive colors are 16M. It has 320 dpi (density per pixel) for the clear visibility of icons and texts.

Multi-touch test has performed so well while the testing of Noki 5 and it has scored full 10-points in it. The color sense, display size, brightness is prefect according to the screen size and resolution.

Design of Nokia 5:

Let’s talk about the design of Nokia 5 in Nokia 5 Review. The dimensions of Nokia 5 are 149.7 x 72.5 x 8 mm whereas the weight is 159 grams. It is packed with fixed battery of 3000 mAh which is present inside the back cover.

If we talk about its front side then it has 5.2 inches’ screen with the screen to body ratio of 69%. The front body is resided with bezel layer which has covered the whole body from every side. Front body has ear piece and front camera lens at its top side while down side has functional keys and fingerprint scanner on it.

Now let’s move to its edges part in which Nokia 5 has volume keys and power button on its one edge whereas the other edge has SIM jacket and Memory card jacket. Both jackets are different which is plus point of Nokia 5. Down edge has speakers, microUSB port and mic on it while top edge has only audio jack on it.

Camera:

Camera section of Nokia 5 is packed with 8MP lens for its camera lens while back camera has 13MP lens. Back camera and front camera can record videos in full 1080p quality. Let’s expand these both camera lens in detail.

Back Camera of Nokia 5:

Nokia 5 has 13MP lens as its back camera and it is present with LED flash light. It can record videos in full 1080p quality whereas Nokia 5 doesn’t define any specific modes. HDR option, self timer and flash light options are accessible in back camera of nokia 5.

Interface of camera section is very simple and easy to use. It has some options which i have discussed in earlier paragraph are present at its top side while down side has camera click button, video button and gallery option.

Setting Menu has variety of options such as direction, height, spirit level and many others. We can reduce the picture size from 13MP to 4MP if we are facing some space issue. Color theme option is also present in which we can change the theme of camera section. The available colors in color theme are red, green, orange and white.

If we talk about its camera results than Nokia 5 has given us better results than Nokia 3. The one thing which i have felt is pictures don’t have color energy in them. They look so dull and boring although clarity is fine but color accuracy and brightness is too weak. Front Camera of Nokia 5:

Nokia 5 has 8MP lens as its front camera but it is present without any flash light. It can record video in full 1080p quality and the modes are same like back camera even though all setting options are accessible for front camera.

Results for front selfie camera are way better than Nokia 3. One thing which Nokia 5 is missing in front camera is beauty mode which it doesn’t have. Memory:

Nokia 5 has just satisfactory memory section because it is providing us 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM. Internal memory can be increased up to 256 GB with the access of memory card and the best part in Nokia 5 is separate memory card jacket. It would be better if we will use the memory card up to 32GB or 64GB, it will not slow your device.

Network/Connectivity of Nokia 5:

Starting with the Wi-Fi connectivity which is dual-band Wi-Fi and supportive standards are b/g/n. Next is Bluetooth which is 4.1 and Nokia 5 has have FM Radio in it.

The Nokia 5 is powered with microUSB 2.0, USB On-The-Go. This port is mainly used to charge the device and to transfer the data via laptop.

Nokia 5 is LTE enabled device that supports 3G or 2G access also. The speed for LTE connection is LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps while 3G is HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps. It supports all the bandwidths of networks in Pakistan.

Interface of Nokia 5:

As we all know Nokia was associated with windows system but this time they did a come back with android system. Nokia 5 has latest android version 7.0 (nougat) which is fast and accurate as compare to older version of android. Nokia 5 has 5.2 inches’ screen and the colors used in its interface are impressive.

Let’s start with its lock screen which has fixed wallpaper set on it which means it doesn’t change automatically. We have notification bar at its top which shows the connectivity of SIM, WiFi and others. Date and time are displayed in the center side whereas if you have to unlock the device, you have to swipe up the screen and enter pass code or pattern if you have set any.

If we talk about its application manager then i will say must say it looks too crowded and loaded with so many applications. You don’t feel any fresh vibe because it doesn’t have any extra space. All the applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns furthermore many bloatware applications are already installed on it.

Processor of Nokia 5:

Nokia 5 has Octa-Core 1.4GHz processor with the chip set of Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 that is based on the architecture of ARM-Cortex A53. This chip set is faster than any other dual-core chip set. Qualcomm has performed so well in every testing of Nokia 5.

It has 2GB RAM which is satisfactory choice for mid-range device. We have installed some applications and games, got no delays and lags.

Antutu Bench Marking of Nokia 5:

Nokia 5 is tested by Antutu Bench marking to check its efficiency and performance. It has scored 45281 points in it and the best part is its multi-touch test in which nokia 5 has scored full 10 points.
