Nokia is a popular brand in Pakistan and recently they have introduced their new smart phones. They are getting a good response from users and gaining good attention in the market. Today we are going to discuss the another device of Nokia which is “Nokia 6”, a sibling of Nokia 5. The price of Nokia 6 in Pakistan is PKR.27,900/-. Let’s read the Nokia 6 Review.

Nokia 6 is 4G enabled device with the octa-core processor of 1.4 GHz while the internal memory is 32GB and RAM is 3GB. The camera section has 16MP back camera lens and 8MP front camera lens. Display of Nokia 6:

The Nokia 6 has all flagship device qualities in the display section.  It has 5.5 inches’ screen size with the screen to body ratio of 70.5%. Above 65 percentage it is considered a very good designed handset. The supportive resolutions are 1080 x 1920 pixels which mean it supports full HD system. DPI (density per pixel) is 480 dpi for the visibility of icons and texts.

The best thing which I like about Nokia 6 is its multi-touch support. Most Nokia devices scored 5 points in multi-touch but this one has mesmerized us with us full support of multi touch and it has scored full 10 points. Touch support is very quick and accurate which is a plus point for Nokia handset.

It supports a graphic card of Adreno 505 which is very fast and quick than any other mali card. GPU mainly used for graphics and better display resolutions.

Design of Nokia 6:

Let’s talk about the design of Nokia 6 in Nokia 6 Review. The dimensions of Nokia 6 are 154 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm whereas the weight is 169 grams. It is packed with a fixed battery of 3000 mAh which is present inside the back cover.

If we talk about its front side then it has 5.5 inches’ screen with the screen to body ratio of 71%. The front body resides with bezel layer which has covered the whole body from every side. Front body has an ear piece and front camera lens at its top side while down side has function keys and a fingerprint scanner on it.

Now let’s move to its edges part in which Nokia 6 has volume keys and power button on its one edge whereas the other edge has SIM jacket and Memory card jacket. Both jackets are different which is plus point of Nokia 6. Down edge has speakers, micro USB port and mic on it while top edge has only audio jack on it.

Memory of Nokia 6:

The Nokia 6 has 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM which makes a very good pair. The internal memory of 32GB a s good choice as long as you don’t fill the device with so many applications and games. If you fill the device then you must have to insert memory card which supports up to 256 GB.

Battery of Nokia 6:

Nokia 6 has non-removable big Li-ion battery of 3000 mAh that is present inside the back cover. Li-ion battery always provides less weight and a great performance which we can see in Nokia 6. The handset ha a big battery inside it that can easily provide us 7-8 stand by hours to play with it. It has Qualcomm chip set which also supports battery saving function so it is plus point for Nokia 6.

Although excessive usage of 4G/3G/2G, games or videos can drain the battery very quickly otherwise this battery is perfect according to all other features of Nokia 6.

Camera of Nokia 6:

Camera section of Nokia 6 is packed with 8MP lens for its camera lens while the back camera has 16MP lens. Back camera and front camera can record videos in full 1080p quality. Let’s expand these both camera lenses in detail.

Back Camera of Nokia 6:

Nokia 6 has a 16MP lens as its back camera and it is present with LED flash light. It can record videos in full 1080p quality whereas Nokia 6 doesn’t define any specific modes. HDR option, self-timer, and flash light options are accessible in the back camera of Nokia 6.

The interface of camera section is very simple and easy to use. It has some options which I have discussed in the earlier paragraph are present at its top side while down side has camera click button, video button, and gallery option.

Setting Menu has a variety of options such as direction, height, spirit level and many others. We can reduce the picture size from 16MP to 4MP if we are facing some space issue. Color theme option is also present in which we can change the theme of camera section. The available colors in color theme are red, green, orange and white.

If we talk about its camera results than Nokia 6 has given us better results than Nokia 5. The one thing which I have felt is pictures don’t have color energy in them. They look so dull and boring although clarity is fine color accuracy and brightness is too weak. Front Camera of Nokia 6:

Nokia 6 has an 8MP lens as its front camera but it is present without any flash light. It can record video in full 1080p quality and the modes are same like back camera even though all setting options are accessible for the front camera.

Results for front selfie camera are way better than Nokia 5. One thing which Nokia 6 is missing in front camera is beauty mode which it doesn’t have. Network/Connectivity of Nokia 6:

Nokia 6 is 4G enabled device with the support of other networks also such as 3G or 2G. It supports all the bandwidths of networks in Pakistan.

Nokia 6 is carried with some other connectivities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and expandable memory. Wi-Fi supports the standards of 802.11 b/g/n, dual-band, WiFi Direct, and hotspot while Bluetooth version is 4.1.

It is Dual SIM enabled a device with the access of expandable internal memory. The place of both these connectivities is present on the edge of Nokia 6.

Interface of Nokia 6:

As we all know Nokia was associated with windows system but this time they did a come back with Android system. Nokia 6 has latest Android version 7.0 (nougat) which is fast and accurate as compared to older version of Android. Nokia 6 has 5.5 inches’ screen and the colors used in its interface are impressive.

Let’s start with its lock screen which has fixed wallpaper set on it which means it doesn’t change automatically. We have notification bar at its top which shows the connectivity of SIM, WiFi, and others. Date and time are displayed in the center side whereas if you have to unlock the device, you have to swipe up the screen and enter pass code or pattern if you have set any.

If we talk about its application manager then I will say must say it looks too crowded and loaded with so many applications. You don’t feel any fresh vibe because it doesn’t have any extra space. All the applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns Furthermore many bloatware applications are already installed on it.

Processor of Nokia 6:

Nokia 6 has Octa-Core 1.4GHz processor with the chip set of Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 that is based on the architecture of ARM-Cortex A53. This chip set is faster than any other dual-core chip set. Qualcomm has performed so well in every testing of Nokia 6.

It has 3GB RAM which is a satisfactory choice for a mid-range device. We have installed some applications and games, got no delays and lags.

Antutu Benchmarking of Nokia 6:

Nokia 6 is tested by Antutu Bench marking to check its efficiency and performance. It has scored 47360 points in it and the best part is its multi touch test in which Nokia 6 has scored full 10 points.

Vellamo Benchmarking of Nokia 6:
