Nokia 7.1 Spotted Running Android 9 Pie Before Official Release of Update
When it comes to Android updates, Nokia is one of the most efficient companies. Earlier in this month, We saw the Nokia 7.1 launch with Android 8.1 Oreo. HMD Global has also confirmed that the device will get an Android 9 Pie update by the end of October. HMD stayed so true to its promise, as Nokia 7.1 has Spotted Running Android 9 in testing.

Some speed enhancements were noticed with the Android 9 Pie and it will be coupled with all of the features such as Do Not Disturb Mode, Adaptive Battery and Brightness, a focus on each user’s Digital Wellbeing and the new gesture-based interface that can be activated from within the settings menu.
HMD Global has also confirmed that the Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus will receive Android 9 Pie this month. Moreover, the most premium smartphones of Nokia, the Nokia 8 and 8 Sirocco will gain access to the new software version in the month of November.
The company is going to have six devices running the stable version of Android 9.0 Pie by the end of November. There are no words as to when the other devices in the HMD portfolio will get the update, but we are expecting that won’t be too long after the current set of devices are updated.
