Nokia 7 Plus to Gain Dual-VoLTE Support

Here is a good news for those, who already own a Nokia 7 Plus. This smartphone will soon get the ability to support dual-VoLTE on both the SIM cards. This information is provided by Juho Sarvikas, a HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer on Twitter. Presently, only one SIM slot is supporting LTE.

Nokia 7 Plus, a newly launched smartphone has been appreciated for its design and camera, but many people were not satisfied with the lack of LTE support in the second-SIM slot.

However, It looks like that HMD Global has sensed it and taken this problem seriously. That is why it has now confirmed the support of VoLTE for the second-SIM slot shortly.

Nokia 7 plus is an Android One-branded smartphone. It is the company’s best smartphone on board. This mid-range device features a 6-inch full HD+ IPS display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Nokia 7 Plus runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo.

Nokia 7 Plus has a dual rear camera set up, one with a 12MP wide-angle lens and the other one with a 13MP telephoto lens along with dual-tone flash. There is a 16MP camera for selfies with Zeiss optics on front.

The Nokia 7 Plus powerhouse carries a 3800mAh battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C (2.0), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC.
